I haven't made any sci-fi stuff in a really long time so I decided to play around with that idea inside Unreal Engine 4. Movies like "Prometheus" were the main visual inspiration here, especially for the vehicle design :)

I always wanted to visualize in 3D some motifs from the Viking mythology,such as the Nine Worlds, connected through the giant ash Yggdrasil, the dragon at it's roots, the various animals living in it's canopy, etc. I've been sculpting that inside Zbrush for a while, but I decided to finally make a low-poly version of it and put it in a real-time game engine with a dynamic lighting to see how it would look in a game smile emoticon My goal was to create a massive looking relief made from a really polished ( even glossy at some spots) stone. A Cave along the Coast - a Cryengine3SDK game environment project
This is a personal project of mine ( still work in progress though) that I started working on 3-4 months ago ( around the time we finished working on ACIV:Black Flag) I used mainly Zbrush ,3ds Max and Photoshop to create all the props and textures in the level.I uploaded some ingame footage on Youtube and Vimeo :
